TITLE: Carbon Tax News 

Why do governments still collect carbon taxes? Sell carbon offsets? And, monitor carbon footprints? 

According to Dan Youra, publisher of climate websites, governments should have terminated carbon taxes, offsets, and footprints twenty-five years ago. 

Society's carbon craze of the early 90s targeted global warming. "Now, looking back," Youra claims, "there has been no global warming for at least seventeen years.” Some say 30 years."

The evidence that global warming has paused comes from temperature gathering experts, for example from Dr. Donald Easterbrook, professor emeritus of geology at Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington. Professor Easterbrook, who is the author of Evidence Based Climate Science, affirms, “We have now had 17 years with no global warming.” Even the United Nation’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) acknowledges that the temperature of the world’s climate is now in a “pause,” not warming, nor cooling.

Youra concludes, "Given that the original aim of Congress's carbon cash cow was to stop global warming and, given that no global warming is evident for at least seventeen years, the logical conclusion is that all governments must refund twenty-five years of carbon cash to citizens."
